Dana has worked with Dr. Samon since 1997. She has 21 years experience working as a veterinary technician with the last 9 years devoted to being a hospital manager. She is devoted to the care and comfort of all companion pets. Her family of pets consists of Tom!, Jada, Dillon, Elliot, Bleach, Chewbacca, Cow, Joe, and Snotty.

Nicole moved to Austin in 1997.  She has been in the veterinary field and has also worked with Dr. Samon since moving here.  She has spent the last 8 years as a veterinary technician.  her compassionate and caring nature has blessed her with 4 cats and 7 dogs.  Their names are: Chico, Lex Luthor, Cricket, Mia, Godzilla, Zoli, Fizz, Milli, Lucy, Bella, and Jezebel.

Holly loves all animals and just can't seem to turn an animal in need away!  She has one rescued pet: Suga Momma, a chihuahua/terrier mix.  Holly has been at the hospital since 2008 and continues to enjoy learning more and more about veterinary medicine.

Sandra was born and raised in Austin.  She is a mother to 3 wonderful children; Lydia, Alyssa, and Christopher, and to 3 great dogs; Bibi, Spunk, and Guerro.  She studied to be a medical assistant, but has been a part of the veterinary field since 2005 and has enjoyed every minute of it!  She is thrilled to be a member of the Star of Texas family and finds joy in getting to help clients take care of their pets!

Vanessa has been with our team since early 2012.  She has been working in the veterinary field since 2010.  She enjoys the field so much, she went on to complete her Certified Veterinary Technician training at Austin Community College this year.  Vanessa has one "child", Precious, her chihuahua.  Vanessa has been a great addition to our team here at Star of Texas!

Kat has been with us since 2007.  She is the "brat" of our pack!  She rules the roost and lets everyone know it!  She is elusive to strangers but once she gets to know you, she will talk your ear off!  She has a limp due to the fact that early on in her life, she had a muscle tear that did not heal right. 

Peach came to live with us in 2008 after being diagnosed with diabetes.  She is a gentle soul who has had many sicknesses throughout her life.  She doesn't let that slow her down, though!  She loves treats and enjoys having us throw them down the hall so she can run after them and catch them like prey! 

Smokey is our newest resident and has been with us since 2012.  He is so thankful to live here with all of us, he lets us rub his belly!  This is the ultimate sign of trust a cat can show and we love him for his absolute trust in us all!  He likes to hang out on the staircase by Dr. Samon's desk so he can tell Dr. Samon tales of his past lives!
